Charles Z. Schalk, Esq., Wins Dismissal of Controversial Whistleblower Case

January 6, 2017 (Somerville) – Firm managing partner Charles Z. Schalk, Esq., scored a major win in the matter of Scozzafava v. Somerset County Prosecutor, Docket No. L-536-16, a controversial Conscientious Employer Protection Act (CEPA) claim. Mr. Schalk represented the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office and moved to dismiss the CEPA claim of an investigator who alleged retaliation after he had complained about the conduct of a high-profile investigation. The trial court agreed with Mr. Schalk’s arguments in the matter and granted his motion to dismiss the case in its entirety.
